The P.I. Club (Positive Influence) is an agency providing mentoring programs for youth males from ages 9-18 yrs in the Houston area. The program will form partnerships with local school districts and the juvenile court system. The P.I. Club's goal is to foster a commitment to young males that are either falling through the cracks at school, not exposed to a different way of life, or are already entangled with the juvenile court system. By providing exposure to life outside of their normal surroundings, we can reassert a sense of hope for their future. 

Introducing male minds to new environments, exhibits, professions, monuments, and enriching experiences etc. exposes them to a diversity of ideas that challenge them with a different perspective or reference point. 
It forces critical thinking and allows them to make a connection to the larger picture. The hope is that these critical thinking skills and grasp of the bigger picture will help in their everyday decision making and translate to more professional, social responsible men.
